Do we value Trumansburg enough to invest in creating a more reasonable village government, or is 70 dollars per year in our pockets so precious to us that we would turn our backs on the village government and continue to allow it to rot?

The Trumansburg impeachment resolution has gained the attention of the national movement to impeach Bush.

There was a strong message from many members of the board that the feelings of the public were an intrusion into the process, not a welcome input. There was yelling. There were insinuations of bad intention. There was a pervasive attitude of defensiveness.

Marty Petrovic will be Trumansburg’s new mayor. How long that will last is uncertain.
