Republicans are, on average, the oldest voters in Trumansburg, New York The 2007 egg hunt organized by the Trumansburg Rotary Club was cold, but a success. The Democrats have the most members in Trumansburg of any registered political party, at 49.7 percent, but being just under the 50 percent mark, that doesn’t constitute an actual majority. In the Village of Trumansburg and in the Town of Ulysses, what we need is not bipartisanship. Self-described bipartisans show their true colors when push comes to shove – they’re just partisans in purple clothing. What we need is above-the-board partisan debate. No more sweeping our disagreements under the rug and pretending that they don’t exist.
