Does Trumansburg Need A 24-Hour Fitness Center?

The women’s exercise center across the street from Ron Don’s has closed down, and the building is available for rent again. Yet, just a hop and a skip from there, the storefront where the Movie Gallery flirted with profitability for a while, will be the location of a similar business, a 24-hour gym. At least, that’s what Allen Carstensen’s report from a recent Town Board meeting indicates.

Does Trumansburg need a gym that’s open even in the wee small hours of the morning? Is there something that a new gym could do to be more successful in our town than the old women’s exercise center was… such as not excluding 50 percent of the population?

I think it is a great idea, being a full time student and full time worker, most gyms conflict with my schedule, being able to workout on my schedule would be great. I could go and workout early or late, my choice.

I noticed such a place has opened up. A place with details re: joining, what is available, would be great. Website?

    Thanks
