Massive MiniGolf Easter Egg Hunt Crowd
A reporter for a TV news outfit was overheard to say that the crowd at yesterday’s 2nd annual TBurg Minigolf Easter Egg Hunt was near 2,000 people. I’m not sure it was that big, but there were an awful lot of people there, whatever the actual number was.
In previous years, Easter egg hunts have suffered from bitter cold weather. This time, it was above 80 degrees, and were participants wearing shorts and tshirts and wolfing down ice cream cones. People came, not just from Trumansburg, but from all around the area, with cars lining both sides of Route 96 from the lumber mill all the way into Jacksonville.
It was like Grassroots for tots. A very intense time was had by all.
