Welcome to Finding Ulysses, an online center of news, opinion, reflection and debate for residents of Trumansburg and the town of Ulysses.

Finding Ulysses was created to give residents of Trumansburg and Ulysses a place to meet and interact, no matter where they happen to be at the moment, and no matter how busy their schedules have become. None of us can make it to every town or village meeting that matters to us. However, we all ought to be able to stay informed and involved in our community, sharing information and insights with our neighbors. For the sake of such information and involvement, Finding Ulysses is a complement to the community resources that already exist.

Our regular contributors share their thoughts on the blog, but that’s just the beginning of what Finding Ulysses can be. Everyone is welcome to leave comments on the articles on the blog, and to fully participate in the debates on the Finding Ulysses discussion board.

Comments and discussion board entries will be moderated, so try to keep it civil. Nobody can catch every stray remark, however, so keep in mind that everyone who comes here is responsible for their own statements, and that there are legal consequences for slander. Remember, when you make statements about someone else, that you might end up standing in line behind them at the Big M tomorrow.

If you would like to start writing for the blog, send an email explaining what you have in mind.
