A list of the courses offered by the Trumansburg Community Education Program for the Winter/Spring 2011 season includes two courses in Zumba, a dance-exercise routine that originated in Columbia.

That sticker, which you put on your bike helmet, acts as a coupon entitling you to discounts, as high as 50 percent in some locations. Purity Ice Cream is participating.

Is there something that a new gym could do to be more successful in our town than the old women’s exercise center was… such as not excluding 50 percent of the population?
