How can any decent, freedom-loving Trumansburg Democrat continue to support the Arcuri re-election campaign, when Mike Arcuri has joined in the hateful anti-Muslim crusade?

Are there any other parents of students in the Trumansburg schools who are bothered by the recitation of the revised version (1950s) of the Pledge of Allegiance that contains the phrase “under God”?

Why would it matter if Geri Keil’s statue depicted the Virgin of Guadelupe being devoured by a bottle of Coca Cola? Public libraries don’t exist to cater to the religious beliefs of particular groups.

Many of Trumansburg’s children are friends of children raised by heterosexual couples, but they don’t have the same protection of having parents who can become legally joined through marriage. These children are made the victims of society’s prejudice against their parents. Senator George Winner is stoking that prejudice.
